Remember when Sonic Team DID put all their effort into a new NiGHTS game, only to have Sega butt in halfway during development and say “scrap it, port it to Wii, you get no extra time or funding”.

I dunno, I was never the biggest Sonic fan growing up. I think the redesigns are fine, but tails kinda sticks out to me since he looks so much like his old self compared to the others.

I’ve seen this fucking hedgehog turn into a werewolf. I’ve seen him ride horses, drive go-karts, play board games, wield a sword, solve labyrinths with cement shoes, ice skate with princesses, become a hedgehog pinball, cross-dress as lady hedgehogs, and shoot lasers out of a guitar. I’ve seen him get robot clones, grimdark gun-toting bike-riding clones, and psychic time-traveling hedgehog friends. I’ve seen him travel through time, travel the Arabian nights, travel to fucking space and beyond. I’ve seen ten iterations of Robotnik and a half dozen voice actors for Sonic.
If they want to reboot it AGAIN…then fine. Whatever. Put bandages on his gloves and shoes. Fuck around with the proportions. WHATEVER. Just do your thing and maybe I’ll play it if it’s alright. I just can’t be bothered to care about how you’re rebooting Sonic THIS TIME.

Leslie and I moved our books and DVDs into our main little work room, and now this place is cozier than ever! All the books are pretty much Leslie’s and all the movies are pretty much mine. Leslie has a few Satoshi Kon movies and Tekkonkinkreet in there, and I’ve got like, a Megaman tradeback in her books.
Skim through our collection and judge our tastes! For convenience sake, I’ve stacked all of my terrible video game-based movies on top, as well as some movies that are just ABOUT video games. King of Kong and Tron are not bad movies.
