Ok, not gonna lie. When I first read the first page of Blaster Nation, by the awesome Leslie and Brad, I cracked up. I’ve never seen a story executed like that at the very beginning before. Needless to say, it had my attention.

This story actually revolves around five individual people, one of which is sitting at the help desk, being useful. His name is Matthew Palmer, a “tabletop gaming aficionado with a love of space marines and magical schoolgirls.” That is his literal description, and I have no problem with that. He lives up to it quite well, despite his rather ruff around the edges father, and has some very interesting character development as the story progresses. Matt has just returned from the air force, and is getting by using the resulting money from his tour. The rest of the characters, I will leave to you to discover.

I love this comic, because although it is completely fictional, it has the qualities and feeling of a biography of five separate characters, and manages to stay true to each of there character types. As stated above, Matt is a tabletop gamer, has a love for space marines, and is quite the eroge enthusiast. Bet y’all thought I wouldn’t catch those titles in there, but I digress.

Overall, it is a great comic with fantastic characters, and is written by two amazing people. I highly recommend you read this comic and give them a follow if you are willing.  Can’t wait to read more of this story, and as always, I hope you enjoy as I much as I do.

Man, it’s super painful going back and looking at our old comics, but it’s worth it to see such a nice review! Thank you, comicguy~

So since I've gotten my drawing tablet I have gained mad respect for your shading and coloring abilities. That. Is. Ridiculous. Also I've been using ArtRage, any other programs to use?

Thanks dude! And I dunno anything about ArtRage, but I use Photoshop CS3 to color everything.

Do you guys play your H-games together? Also I'm sure you've been asked before but it crossed my mind earlier today; how did you two meet?

Of course! Who else am I going to play them with?

Leslie and I met in high school. We played Elite Beat Agents together in-between classes. I thought she was really cute and she thought my butt was really cute

Have you guys been to Exhentai?

Yep! For personal reasons and because our Chimneyspeak comic got dumped there.

I know I shouldn’t be happy about our private porn comics being dumped, but man, I really love seeing all the positive comments about them.

You guys seem like the perfect nerds for this question. I'm catching up on some Sega classics that I've missed out on, anywhere between the Sega Master System and the Sega CD. you guys got any recommendation ?

If you’re in to fighting games, pick up Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side on Sega CD. Way more characters, some insanely brutal and gory fatalities, and it’s got this guy as an unlockable character:

Sega CD also has the best version of Earthworm Jim and don’t even DARE think about getting any other version of Snatcher but the Sega CD version, otherwise you’re missing out on the whole story.

For Sega Genesis/Master System, Gunstar Heroes is a must-have. Comix Zone is one of the most interesting side-scrolling beat-em-ups ever conceived. Last, get Sonic and Knuckles, jam Sonic 3 in there, and play one of the greatest games ever made.

Whose boobs would win: Sorceress from Dragon's Crown, or the girls from Senran Kagura?

Well, considering that there is only one Sorceress and 20 girls from Senran Kagura, that’s two boobs vs forty. That, and several of the girls have cup sizes at least comparable to the Sorceress. The girls from Senran Kagura’s ninja schools are also trained to use their boobs to hide ninja scrolls.

Further examination is required.

Cleaned up the apartment, visited Leslie’s parents, played some H-games, fixed our bed, and put up the laundry Leslie did today. Super productive day for everything but making comics.

could you recommend "LPs" in which the gamer goes less on the funny side(even the voice acting side) and does a more serious, in-depth narration? Also gives time to read the text but that's not essential...

Chip Cheezum.

Chip is seriously one of my favorites. Some light jokes occasionally, but Chip makes sure you see EVERY detail on whatever game he’s doing. You’ll never see anyone go into as much depth with a game.

Well, besides these guys.

I just wanted to say that you two are super cute together and have what I think would be an ideal relationship. I'm a little jealous.
