Were you as let down by GTA Online as I was? The bastards went and Fable'd me.

I dunno, I’m still having fun with it. The game modes are pretty awesome, there’s still a lot to do in Los Santos. Yeah, there’s a LOT of stupid decisions (bad sport, money loss on death, etc.), but there’s a lot of potential in there and I think it can be fixed.

I’m probably just blinded by the fun I’ve had with it so far, though. Despite the stupid character creator, I absolutely love the character I ended up with, I love getting into fights with players, and I love trying to escape from bounty hunters.

TIME TO FLAT-COLOR ME SOME BLASTER NATION. Haven’t done any flat-coloring in like, almost a month now. Feels weird.

My computer will hopefully get fixed sometime today, too. Then we’ll be back at FULL COMIC-MAKING OVERDRIVE.

Ask me some stuff while I color.

Japanese studios pay their animators significantly less than american studios. Like, obscenely, almost criminally less.

Well, obviously, but I’m not really sure how it goes in THIS specific case. Like, I’m pretty sure for LWA2, Studio Trigger would be getting paid through the kickstarter, right? Unless the studio is a lot bigger than Frederator and they have to stretch the wages super thin, I don’t see how that’d be an issue.

But I don’t really know how the financial distribution goes in either of these companies. I just think $100k for six minutes is a crazy as hell exchange rate.

Man, I was super excited for that Bee and Puppycat kickstarter, but then

Our minimum goal is to produce six, brand new, six-minute Bee and PuppyCat cartoons.

$600k minimum for what, roughly 36 minutes of content? $100k each for every six minute episode? That’s CRAZY. Little Witch Academia only went for $150k minimum and that was for a whole 20-minute short film. $600k turned that into a fucking movie-length production.

I know animation is expensive, but jesus christ, that’s ridiculous. Good luck to Natasha regardless, I love her work and wish her the best, but jeeez
