I'm guessing you're platformer nerdgasming after Mighty No. 9 and now a Shantae kickstarter that looks well on its way to hitting its goal, what other platformers would you like to see come back?

This was actually asked awhile ago but it kind of got swept away in all the awesome posts congratulating us on our engagement

Buuut if I had to pick, I’d love to see a Blaster Master revival, maybe a Rocket Knight Adventure sequel that doesn’t suck. Out of This World recently got a rerelease, which is fucking awesome. Clash at Demonhead would also be cool to see.

OK so I finally finished DmC and that helped me realize that first impressions aren't everything. Dante screaming Fuck you was cute for the first 1 hr or so but then it got tedious and then it started to piss me off. Also it has a combat system that makes the first Paper Mario look like Final Fantasy 7 difference being that Paper Mario is actually good. Guess all I needed was a few hours in the quarantine bubble.

I’m just glad that game bombed as much as it did so that we’ll never see anything of the like ever again hopefully. 

I can’t remember the last thing I ever hated as vehemently as DmC. Like, jesus, my blood boils even just thinking back on it.

I kinda miss it now

I used to write really bad stories and Leslie used to make really bad drawings and somehow we were foolish enough to think that our combined talents might produce something worthwhile

Anyways, try asking nicely or ensure that she has nothing better to do like how we did

People might think I’m somehow less hardcore because of this but fuck it, man, I am a HUGE Rockstar fanboy and GTA5 is my fucking DREAM GAME. I don’t know how Leslie and I are going to handle obsessing over it while maintaining a comic schedule. Hell, we don’t even know how we’re going to handle taking turns and not spoiling ourselves because we both pretty much live in our living room.

BLASTER NATION IS NOW ACCEPTING GUEST COMICS

This chapter’s wrapping up at the end of the month, and honestly, doing Blaster Nation comics three days a week is pretty exhausting, especially when we’ve got so many other projects lined up. We need a break! Refresh ourselves! Get a bunch of work done on our other stuff so we’re not constantly grinding ourselves with comics 24/7 every day. 

So, if you want to do a guest comic, now’s your chance! Ideally, we’d like enough updates to cover at least a week-long break for us. But if we get a bunch, we’ll extend it to two and NO MORE. So if we somehow get more than six great guest comics, we’ll just update more often throughout the two weeks. We’re looking for nice, quality comics featuring whatever BN character(s) you’d like to focus on! Funny, sad, creepy, whatev! Only restrictions are no gore or nudity (cheesecake is fine!), and they should at least be 772 pixels wide. Make it however long it needs to be. 

Deadline for submissions is September 30th, right around when this chapter ends. If you have any questions, then feel free to send us a tumblr ask or somethin’! Thank you guys so much, we can’t wait to see what any of you comic people have in store for us!
