I think if you have a dreamcast and don't own a copy of soul calibur you might actually get arrested in some places, I'm pretty sure that's the rules

I remember getting so hyped for the Xbox Live rerelease but then realized it cut out the gallery and mission battles that I loved so much. It ain’t Soul Caliber if I’m not dodging flaming rats on the ground.

So how do you guys feel about Skullgirls?

THE BEST.

Seriously, we love it. The characters, the animation, music, mechanics, everything. It gets waaaay too much flak from fighting game blowhards, but it’s ridiculously fun and I hope it gets the love it deserves on PC.

So I just picked up a sega dreamcast with a controller, the cords, MvC2, Illbleed, and Jet Grind Radio (I think Jet Set Radio sounds better as a name for it, but whateves. I still need to find another controller and a couple of VMU's. any recommendations for some games I should look for? Also is lockhorn a real game? I couldn't find anything about it so I don't think it is lol. Also I paid about $40 for all that.

Nice find! And nah, Lockhorn was just based off an old comic project Leslie and I had in mind. Not a real game.

Real games you SHOULD look out for, though:

Shenmue

Grandia II

Typing of the Dead

Project Justice

D2

Soul Caliber

Seaman

Power Stone ½

Some games like Sonic Adventure/Skies of Arcadia got superior ports on Gamecube, and I’m sure there’s a lot of great ones I haven’t listed, but these are some of the best. Good luck!

I think your site has a virus. It keeps linking me to a site to download porn.

Hopefully it’s our porn! If it’s not, I’ll talk to our tech people to investigate

Edit: It looks like everything is safe on our end.

Have you played Okami? If so, how hard did you cry at the end?

Hooboy, lowering my power level right here. I never beat Okami.

I love that game, and it’s so beautiful and fun, but goddamn, by the time I fought Orochi the first time and had that awesome ceremony, I felt SO done with the game. But when I realized I was only halfway through, I just sort of gave up.

Maybe I’ll try again sometime, but jesus CHRIST that game is long. That and Odin Sphere are just great games where the one downside is that there’s TOO MUCH game.
