I spent the better part of my day sitting down and reading through your webcomic-- and it was full of a lot of laughs. I like how the one mini-ship I had {Derrick and Mel} actually worked out! And I think I had a minor fangasm when I saw that you two play MH3U! Right now, I'm sitting cozy with full Rathian and Twin Arcus.. what're your favorite armor pieces and weapons in MH3U? Monsters, also?
I really like the whole Derrick and Mel thing, I can’t wait to write more with that.
And honestly, Animal Crossing kinda super cut into our Monster Hunting, so we’ve fallen way behind. Last we played, we had just discovered the joys of slime weapons. I personally love the gunner Wroggi set, and Leslie rocks the blademaster Uraa set. Leslie’s a switch-axe and hammer master, while I switch between bows, lance, and greatsword. I try to switch between all of them, but those three are my best.
/v/ talks so highly of the Yakuza series but is it something of worth to get into?
It’s one of my favorite series, so yes, yes it is.

Just saw those darkside phil videos you were talking about and I can't help but ask how a person like that can even function?
I seriously have no idea. Hell, I wouldn’t even mind that he sucks at games if he didn’t blame his own failures on everything else BUT him. Hell, I’d write it off as just a character he does, but then he started crying that his videos weren’t making him enough money, and now the whole thing just seems really sad and shitty.
So how do you and Leslie plan the story for the comic?
So far, it’s mostly been just picking a character or two, deciding what we want to do with them, making a central theme to the chapter, and then cranking out scripts and thumbnails. But after this current story, we’re probably going to focus more on group-centric stories instead of just a couple of characters. There’s not really any on-going plot in mind for BN, just mostly “What are these characters going to do today?”, which might change in the future.

In my mind, Blasternation is that story which plot is pretty much the every-day routine. So everytime I feel that escapist emotion I can read it to soothe my exhausted head... (have I ever told you "Good job!" by the way?) my question is: Is there an ending planned for Blasternation? I pesonally think that and "end" does not suit it much, but who knows what the Gods Blaster and Nation hold for us?
There’s no ending currently planned, no. But we really don’t want to continue the comic forever, either. There’s still a lot we want to do with these characters and a lot of stories we want to tell through them, so don’t expect BN to wrap up any time soon.
And thanks for all the kind words. Sorry it took so long to answer some of these.
have you guys ever put something in the comic actually happened in life, that made friends or family say,"what the hell, man ? that dude wasn't that homeless !". not in that context, but along that line.
Can you be MORE homeless?
Nah, none of our friends and family really read our comic. Thank god. Even if they did, I don’t think they’d be able to relate too much. So far, the only thing we’ve put in that’s a little TOO close is Dan’s attitude towards video games, which is supposed to parody my own.
