how far goes the similarities between Leslie n' Kim and you n' Dan?Obviously, Dan hates video games as much as I do but doesn’t really look like me that much besides being tubby. Kim is cute like Leslie but just doesn’t have her ICE COLD GANGSTA personality.
There’s no way I can deny that Kim and Dan are basically self-inserts, so we try to make them at least parodies of ourselves. Take certain aspects of our own personalities and intensify them. Hopefully when we get to do a Kim/Dan-centric chapter, we can focus more on those aspects. It’s a fine line we have to tread between not making them complete jokes and not making them Mary and Gary Sue.
