What if the BN cast became self aware that their cartoons?
Probably worldwide panic once the realization hits that their entire existence is in the hands of a guy who complains about video games and a girl who takes frequent couch naps with her chihuahua. Eventually, I’m sure large sectors of the populace will start worshiping and fearing us, while a small branch will adamantly deny our existence. Everyone will be obnoxious.

As a person who can't really afford a Slipshine account at the moment (and is sad about it), I'm curious: Do you know any really good NSFW webcomics that don't require a subscription? (Besides Jess Fink's lovely stuff)
Well, we’re working on some Rock Cocks as I type this~
You Suck and Curvy are great comics. If you’re into weird stuff, Raven’s Dojo and Lemonfont’s comics are worth checking out. And if you just want some cute, light nudity, check out Go Get a Roomie.
I’ve got so many ancients asks piled up in our box
I was just wondering what you guys think makes a good character? What is it about your favourite video game characters or comic characters that make you love them so much? Also, Brad do you hate when characters show weakness or vulnerability?
Oh no, not at all. I’m fine with weakness and vulnerability, but I also like those bad-ass, power-fantasy characters that Batman and Samus and Lara Croft can be.
Have you tried the new tomb raider? I thought it was a pretty good reboot.
Sorry I’m late on responding to this, but I never liked the idea of the Tomb Raider reboot.
Granted, I never got to play much of the original Tomb Raider games, but they always sounded neat as fuck to me. This bad-ass chick can dual-wield guns while somersaulting through the air shooting at dinosaurs. I just liked the fact that she was this tough, cool lady that had her own goddamn explorable mansion with a butler. She did cool shit, got some ancient treasure, thwarted some evil plans and peaced out back to her sweet mansion. I’m down with that.
I didn’t like it when Other M felt the need to show Samus as vulnerable, weak, or any of that bullshit, and I hated what they showed for the Tomb Raider reboot. Lara Croft always seemed like a tough girl to me with a great sense of exploration and a no-bullshit attitude. To see her getting felt up by these big scary men, see her in all these “vulnerable” states, hearing her talk about how she hates tombs, just…fuck that. Why can’t she just be cool?
Granted, I’ve never been a fan of focusing on origin stories to begin with. What I loved about the original Tim Burton Batman movies was that it jumped straight to Batman being cool and didn’t fuck around with any sentimental bullshit. I hate taking these larger-than-life characters and trying to ground them to reality, making them human. It’s why I hated DmC so much. We already don’t have enough bad-ass female characters in video games, we don’t need to see their “soft, sentimental, vulnerable sides”. Just let them be cool.
1UP: Sounds tough. It’ll be fun to give that one a shot. Is the other new difficulty setting Easy Mode?
TI: No, that’s not quite right. The lowest difficulty will be called Ninja Dog. While it is a mode intended for casual gamers, it is not Easy Mode. Not being able to beat the game on Normal means that you are a failure as a Ninja, but not that you are a failure as a gamer, right? Ninja Dog is for those players.
1UP: How does that affect your ranking at the end of each stage? Can you get a Master Ninja ranking in Ninja Dog mode?
TI: [laughs] That’s nonsense. Impossible. How could a dog become a Master Ninja?
1UP: You know, when we reviewed the game, we warned people “This is hard,” but everyone on message boards scoffed. But when everyone finally got the game the reaction was “OMG.” Did you guys think “Well maybe the average gamer isn’t as good as we thought, so let’s make it easy on them?”
TI: That’s right. In other words, there are some people who want to beat the game, even if it means being reduced to the level of a dog; people who are not afraid to shame themselves to accomplish their goals. Sometimes in life, that type of style is necessary. Anyone who can think like that can still be a real man. The Ninja Dog difficulty setting is for men like that. So don’t give up too easily!
